Go-to Creamy Polenta / Grits

3 1/2 cups low-salt chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup polenta (coarse cornmeal)
Salt / pepper

Optional:
Parmesan
Butter
Corn (grilled, fresh off cob)
Thyme

Instructions:
  • Bring liquids to a boil, add polenta slowly.
  • Bring polenta to bubbly, molten state and then reduce heat.
  • Simmer for 20+ min.
  • Keep adding water if too thick / dry.
