Faux Cream Sauce

This was originally the "creamy" mix for my first gluten free, dairy free, nut free, soy free... all allergen free dip, and it really works for everything! I used it as a base for stroganoff tonight and it was delish.

Ingredients:
  • ~1/2 cup vegan mayo
  • 1 small can of coconut cream (just the thick part, not the liquid)
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 small lemon
  • onion powder
  • salt/pepper
Stir and voila!

Gott's Poke Tacos

Poke:
ahi tuna, ~1lb
~2 - 3 tbsp fresh ginger
.25 c soy sauce
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
a little honey / maple syrup
1/2 tbsp minced jalapeno
salt

Slaw:
2 c shredded green cabbage
juice and zest of 1 lime

Sauce:
1/4 c mayo
1 tsp siriacha +

Other:
Avocado
Sesame seeds
Sliced green onions

Corn tortillas / tortilla shells

Instructions:
  1. Marinate the fish ~30 min with all ingredients
  2. Mix together the slaw
  3. Mix together the sauce
  4. Fry the tortillas
  5. Build your taco: sauce, slaw, then poke, avocados, green onions and sesames
